I just want to take the time to say "THANK YOU" for the EXCELLENT Tour on last Saturday afternoon.
Also to say how much we appreciate you guiding us to your parking lot then driving us to the van just in
time for departure! I have already told several person's that your tour is a "MUST HAVE". Mike did a
marvelous job and he was extremely knowledgable of the place he calls home. I can't wait to take the
tour again!

We took a New Orleans tour through the Dixie Tour Company. The only thing different I would wish for, is
that I had booked this at the beginning of our vacation, instead of the end! This 3-hour tour is a
comprehensive look at New Orleans, and we changed our last day itinerary based on the information we
gathered through our guide, Jean, News Orleans born and raised. In 3 hours in a small comfortable
touring van, you tour historic areas and get a realistic perspective on the Katrina disaster and rebuilding
underway. You are picked up at your hotel, and I always felt safe. We learned a great deal about New
Orleans history; and there are stops at cemetery #3, (absolutely fascinating if you have that interest) and
a fabulous rest stop in the City Park, with a marvelous sculpture garden. This is a great way to learn
about New Orleans, to complement the rest of your visit if you are staying for more than a couple of days.
Or it will give you every reason to put New Orleans on your travel itinerary again in the future.

The guide was very knowledgeable....took us all over the cities hot spots and more. Also interjected his
own stories about the area which were very interesting. Even another tour, guide congratulated us on
finding the best tour co. in NOLA. Would recommend it to all!
